Who am I? Who is Paula S. Brooks?
Good question, I am the one with the look of deep thought on my face when really I am thinking about the next great adventure. Right
from a young age I was creating, doodling and using my imagination. Years later technology changes, crayons to the mouse and 35 mm
film to digital.
My studio space is my hide away, the place where I am surrounded by memories, books....pst I love hard cover books the grand total
has never really been counted but that's okay. Finally this year I hung some of the pieces that I have created my portfolio case is still full
and who said we wouldn't need that huge case after college. Yes I did say College, yep I went and stayed for awhile, six years in total(2
programs) what can I say I was young my first day at St. Lawrence College I was 17 years old. After the College years I went to Toronto
and gained great experience, not in my field of course. (I am laughing)
Its interesting how life takes you on a journey as now I am doing what I enjoy the most, using my imagination.......and not being told to
stop daydreaming.
The only thing that has not changed is me being left handed, maybe that is where my talent comes from the far side of my brain. ~ Paula
